Tourism Ireland has unveiled a new online film highlighting the wonderful wildlife and spectacular nature to be found right around Northern Ireland and the island of Ireland.
Titled ‘Noises of Nature’, the film features beautiful footage of the island’s wildlife – including stags at play, puffins feeding, whales splashing and swans in flight.
It aims to build anticipation for holidays on the island of Ireland later this summer. The message is that “it's been a tad quiet recently, but these green lands are anything but asleep … and when the time is right, we look forward to having you with us”.
A dedicated page on Tourism Ireland’s website, Ireland.com, is also showcasing the film.
Siobhan McManamy, Tourism Ireland’s Director of Markets, said: “Our new online film is a fun way of shining a spotlight on our wonderful wildlife and spectacular nature. Tourism Ireland is now working hard to build anticipation for holidays here later this summer.
“As international travel begins to restart, we will be pulling out all the stops to promote Northern Ireland and the island of Ireland as a safe, welcoming and ‘must-see’ destination across the world. Our message is that we can’t wait to roll out the green carpet and welcome back our overseas visitors.”
Whether it’s the splash of a whale popping up to say hello off the coast of County Cork, the clash of antlers between rutting stags at Killarney National Park, or the soft bleats of a lamb in the rolling Sperrin Mountains, the island of Ireland is full of nature, life and sonic wonder.
