Already well-known for its historic castle and estate, walled garden, glamping pods, tea room, tulip festival and the Dalriada Festival – Northern Ireland's biggest family festival of music and food – Glenarm Castle is introducing a range of brand new experiences.
Following a major investment at the County Antrim destination, the new additions include a heritage centre, museum, woodland walk, e-bike hire, a castle shop and Ireland's first mini land rover experience.
A milk parlour featuring ice cream using milk from Northern Ireland’s only remaining shorthorn dairy herd has also been added.
In addition, and due to high demand, three new stylish holiday pods with sea views are to be added to the existing suite of Ocean View pods. A new immersive visitor experience with audio guides will enhance tours and a progressive web app for Glenarm Castle is currently in development.
Glenarm Castle is one of few country estates on the island of Ireland that remain privately owned but open to the public. Annually, its charms pull in thousands from all over the world.
Visitors can enjoy beautiful scenery and enchanted walks in the historic walled garden, excellent locally sourced food in the charming tea room, a little bit of retail therapy in the Byre Shop and a browse of the Shambles Workshop featuring bespoke retro up-cycled items, photography, jewellery, and other crafts.
