Adventure awaits at five-star Lough Erne Resort

Lough Erne Resort has announced plans to create a range of new adventure-type features within its 600-acre resort as it prepares to welcome eager guests when travel restrictions are lifted.
 
The award-winning resort, which sits on its own private peninsula in the Fermanagh lakelands, will be opening a spectacular new Themed Woodland Forest Trail as part of a raft of new activities planned to encourage guests to enjoy the outdoors and wellness during the spring and summer periods.  

Joanne Walsh, general manager at the five-star resort, said the plans had been developed in response to exceptional customer demand and feedback following the introduction of outdoor activity options such as paddle boarding and yoga last summer. 
 
“Given our unique location in one of the most scenic parts of Northern Ireland, we believe we are well placed to cater for people of all ages – including families – who want to spend a while in the stunning Fermanagh Lakelands, which is a world apart,” she said.  
 
The Themed Woodland Forest Trail will be a wonderful outdoor adventure through the resort’s grounds and will be the focal point for the new range of outdoor activities that will include lakeside yoga, paddle boarding and water biking. 

Lough Erne Resort is also adding new outdoor furniture and barbecue equipment for those staying in its fabulous, luxury, self-catering lodges. 

The resort is planning to have the new experiences ready in the spring and has recently launched its Spring and Summer Exclusives packages which feature options such as a complimentary private cruise with Erne Water Taxis, a one-hour stand up paddle boarding session with Blue Green Yonder or lakeside yoga with Ocean Yoga. Summer guests will also be able to choose from a host of upgrade extras including grazing boards and a private bath butler.

Lough Erne Resort is also one of the top golf resorts in Ireland, boasting two championship courses, including the renowned Faldo Course. 

Its unique Thai Spa experience can take guests on an eastern journey to inner calm and rejuvenation, while celebrity chef Noel McMeel curates the Catalina Restaurant, the epitome of fine dining and holder of 3 AA Rosettes.
 
And besides everything to be enjoyed on site, the resort also offers a great base from which to explore the other treasures of Fermanagh.
